Does FotoTechnika use any inkjet papers?
FotoTechnika uses only 100% cotton inkjet materials to print fine art photographs (FotoGiclees) and reproductions of artwork (Fine Art Giclees). The finished prints are sprayed with UV coating to protect them from light and moisture. These processes are explained in detail on our fine art website at http://www.fototechnika.com
What are FotoGiclees?
FotoGiclées are high quality inkjet reproductions of photographic images on archival fine art materials. Images may be created from original digital files, scanned film, photographs, drawings or mixed media.
FotoGiclées are produced on large format Epson printers and have excellent archival stability properties. Color reproductions are printed with Epson Ultrachrome inks and B&W reproductions with Jon Cone’s Piezotone system. Piezotone FotoGiclées are neutral B&W or sepia tone prints and provide an inkjet alternative to fiberbase prints.
