Does FotoTechnika use any inkjet papers?
FotoTechnika uses only archival inkjet materials to print fine art photographs (FotoGiclees) and reproductions (Fine Art Giclees). The finished prints are sprayed with UV coating to protect them from light and moisture. These processes are explained in detail on our fine art website at http://www.fototechnika.com
What are FotoGiclees?
FotoGiclées are high quality inkjet reproductions of photographic images on archival fine art materials. Images may be created from original digital files, scanned film, photographs, drawings or mixed media.
FotoGiclées are produced on large format Epson printers and have excellent archival properties. Reproductions are printed with Jon Cone’s Archival Color or Piezotone inks. Piezotone FotoGiclées are neutral B&W or sepia tone prints which are an inkjet alternative to fibrebase prints.
